St. Joseph Training Institute of Printing

 History Rev. Fr. Augustin Guarneri sdb founded the institute in 1967 with a two-fold aim: to make good literature available to the common people and to provide training to the poor and abandoned, so that they would be able to earn their livelihood. Rev. Fr. Augustin directed the press with these aims in mind and that is what helps the only Catholic Press (Bengali) in Bengal to grow and expand. Besides, the press has two letter press cylinder printing machine, two offset printing machines. The press prints and publishes literature on Religion, Bible, Catechesis, Church History and Ethics. It has already brought out over 150 publications on these topics. A series of Catechetical books from class I to XII is being published here in Bengali. A series of Moral Science books has been published by the press. These books are used in the various Christian and other  institutions.

            Proclamation & Inter-faith Dialogue formed a commission which is spread the name of Jesus to the certain villages that never heard the name. This commission publishing a magazine  at the time of Christmas, named Prerona.

 4. SCC Bulitine (Quarterly)

            The pastoral Council of Krishnagar Diocese following the decision made by the Council of Bishop (CBCI, FABC) set to implement SCC in order to form a new way of being church. A team was formed and sent to Bandra, Mumbai They SCC commission publishing a Journal of their activities quarterly .

It is youth quarterly  magazine. Through this magazine youth encourage to inculcate their talent in writing this magazine. This magazine also give picture of youth movements in this diocese of Krishngar. It is publishs by the youth commission. 

 6. Vachanolsavam  (Monthly)

It is published in Kerala but the Bengali version in this magazine is sent for Jalalkhali. It contain the witness of Healing ministry. It is a monthly magazine, and its subscribe is Rs. 5/- per issue.
